Ka Whoops is my stage name, while my real name is Carla. I am a Flow Artist & Hula Hoop Trainer.

I discovered hula hoop dancing in 2012, and it quickly changed my life. What started as a fun activity brought me numerous benefits, including increased self-confidence, better body coordination, and improved well-being. After working as a flight attendant for over 10 years, performances and teaching hula hoop dance became my main profession in 2022 (just after Covid time).

Qualifications: Hooping Mad Advanced Teacher Training at Tadah (2019), certified "Hoop Love Coach" hula hoop dance instructor (2017), and pelvic floor trainer at the Ahab Academy (2022).

Since 2015, I have been performing at various events, including circuses, cabaret evenings, conventions, festivals, as well as private and corporate events. In 2018, I was one of the finalists at the 66th Steglitzer Woche in Berlin.

I offer mesmerizing choreographed hula hoop acts and performances that will leave your audience spellbound. With multiple hoops and an array of captivating props like fans, buugengs, poi,  wings, LED, UV, and  FIRE, my shows are a feast for the senses.

I also perform together with my partner as KAMA DUO, we offer led and fire shows as well as walking acts and workshops. As a member of Germany's first Hula Hoop Troupe, SPICE HOOPERS, and the artist manager at UNIVERSAL CIRCLE, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. I also collaborate with other artistic collectives like HULLABALOOCABARET, ensuring a diverse and dynamic range of performances.

Do you like bright, fluorescent colours? Impress your audience and yourself with a UV colourful Act.

With complementing costumes and make-up, this performance takes place under a black light. 

Make the show happen! 

Every special occasion is good for a fire show. Should it be too windy for fire? A LED Performance could be a good alternative or another option. The fire props I use are: Fire Hand Candle, Hula Hoop, torches, double staff, pyro poi.  Preferably offered as KAMA DUO.

Do you believe in fairies? YES I do, I do! … and I wish you believe in them too!

In this 20 minutes show you will get to know more about these divine creatures: wings, rings and other props will be used to fly around and to enter into other dimensions. …and when the night comes the lights will sparkle.
